The Dallas Texans stymied the El Paso Mavericks, 5-2, at Metroplex Park. Miguel Damaso had a good day at the plate. He was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Dallas. Earning his 40th save of the year was Cory Larson. The win makes Dallas 75-61.

Dallas took a 5-1 lead on Damaso's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Renato Tofoli in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Dallas to the win.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Damaso told the Dallas Bulletin. "But we take nothing for granted."
