Victory Pushes Aeropostales Record to 73-64
|
Indian Wells rode a decent outing from starter Danny Caravantes to victory over the Fairfield Flash at Stars Field. The final score was 7-3. Indian Wells is 73-64 and Fairfield, with the loss, 64-72.
The Aeropostales got a big at-bat from center fielder Juan Parra. For the game, Parra was 2 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Indian Wells a 4-3 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Indian Wells manager Zale Kountouroudas.
