Victory Pushes Spartans Record to 20-17

The Sandy Springs Spartans trumped the Terra Linda Chargers, 7-3, at The Coliseum. Sandy Springs second baseman Cole Holliday was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Sandy Springs reliever Yasuo Shishido picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Fei-hsien Xun shouldered the loss. The Spartans raised their record to 20-17.
Hector Garza hit a 2-run double off Willie de Jesus in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Spartans in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Garza had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
