It was a good time at Outlander Park, where fans came to watch the Madison Beehive and Frisco Rams get after it.
Frisco shortstop Alex Ashley was a significant contributor in his team's 9-2 triumph over the Madison Beehive. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Frisco. Jeff Beem got the win, improving to 4-7. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up no runs on 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2.
Irv Embury, who is tied for 2nd in the RAA in hits with 101, chipped in for Frisco with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Embury told the Frisco Gazette.
Frisco is now 37-38. Madison is 43-32.
