Rockets Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Frisco
|
The Rockets grabbed a win, 7-4, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, overcoming a fine effort from Frisco pitcher Mike Gallion. Gallion went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Noah Speech was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 14 save opportunities. Kelowna occupies second place in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League at 52-40.
Joey Eaton had a go-ahead single for Kelowna in the bottom of the seventh inning. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the 24-year old left fielder hit a run-scoring single off Elijah Evans. His 115th hit of the season made the score 5-4.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Eaton said after the game.
