The Dallas Texans got a strong performance from pitcher Bobby Gilmore. RCP56 stymied the Cabo San Lucas offense en route to a solid, 6-2 win at Metroplex Park. Gilmore, now 4-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. The Texans raised their record to 16-28.

The Texans got a big at-bat from right fielder Jose Vega. For the game, Vega was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Dallas a 3-2 lead.
