Red Bulls Prevail, 6-4, Over Buzzard's Bay
The Riverside Red Bulls stopped the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 6-4, behind an impressive performance from Manny Jimenez. The 24-year old left fielder made life miserable for Buzzard's Bay pitching. He was 2-5 with 2 home runs. Riverside starter Chotaro Matsuno was credited with the win after throwing 93 pitches over 5.2 innings. His record now stands at 5-1. Willie Chaparro picked up the save, his 12th.

Making an impact for Riverside was shortstop Alfredo Morales. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Morales was 1 for 4.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Morales told the Riverside News. "It's as simple as that."

Riverside goes to 65-38. The win puts them 6˝ games up in their division.
