Bedlecom Helps Bradenton Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Bradenton Marauders defeated the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 11-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Curt Bedlecom, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 7. Even with the win, the Marauders have a dismal 33-115 record.

With Bradenton leading 7-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Bedlecom hit a grand slam home run off San Antonio hurler Vinny Herrera. It was the 24th home run of the season for Bedlecom and put his team ahead, 11-2.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Bradenton skipper Mason Eilers.
