Mustangs Shut Out Jedi Knights
|
It was a fun time at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, where the New Orleans Jedi Knights and San Angelo Mustangs tangled.
Right-hander Josh McGrath mesmerized the New Orleans Jedi Knights while leading the San Angelo Mustangs to a 7-0 victory. The winning pitcher was McGrath, now 3-2. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.
The Mustangs picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said McGrath. "It eases the tension."
The Mustangs' win now puts them at 21-17.
