Crosscutters Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Houston
The Williamsport Crosscutters dealt the Houston Sting a 6-3 loss at Crosscutters Park. Casey Hill was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Earning his 11th save of the year was Josh Gary. At 17-30, the Crosscutters find themselves in last place in the TMLA Earl Weaver Division.

Williamsport took a 6-3 lead on Tony Luna's 33rd hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Luna hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Houston pitcher Roy Somersall visibly frustrated.

"I know we have our doubters," said Houston manager Geoffrey Jellineck. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
