Knights Come Up Short at Williamsport
Williamsport beat Kingwood at Crosscutters Park, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to second baseman Victor Chavez, who earned player of the game honors. He was 1-3 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Even with the win, the Crosscutters have a dismal 25-49 record.

Chavez had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Crosscutters went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Chavez.
