Manhattan Picks Up Another L
The Seattle Sasquatch downed the Manhattan Slice, 6-1, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Stellar pitching by Juan Macias had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who leads the RCL in complete games with 1, handcuffed his opponent all game. Macias, now 3-5, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Manhattan's current losing streak is now 7 games.

The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bryan Hamlin. For the game, Hamlin went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-1 lead.

"This game is going to humble you at times and you've got to man up and deal with it," said Manhattan manager Giampaolo Marcovicci.
