| Mustangs Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Hisornori Tanaka, who is rated as the 67th best prospect by BNN, led the San Angelo Mustangs to a 11-7 win over the Cambridge Orphans. The last-place Mustangs now have a win-loss record of 55-78.
San Angelo used the timely hitting of William Horst to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Mustangs on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame comments, Horst said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
