| Warriors Score Late, Upend Saints, 7-6 | The Winfield Warriors beat the St. Paul Saints, 7-6, at Saints Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of center fielder Pat Hope, who captured player of the game honors. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Winfield reliever Bobby Collins picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Kevin Hargrove was collared with the loss. The Warriors have now won 4 straight.
