In a close game at Bar Habor Stadium, the Acadia Park Nationals edged the Minneapolis Freeze, 4-3. Acadia Park second baseman Carl Farley stood apart with his performance. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. Terry Hearn notched his 11th save of the season. The win cannot erase the fact that Acadia Park still has a disappointing 48-93 record.

Ruben Lagunas dealt the Freeze a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Acadia Park leading 2-1, Lagunas, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in stolen bases with 34, hit a 1-1 changeup for a run-scoring single.

In postgame remarks, Lagunas hailed his team's "single-minded determination."
