In Extras, Hackers Beat Seagulls
Silicon Valley first baseman Keith Peterson contributed significantly to his team's 5-4 win over the Clearwater Seagulls. Peterson, who is tied for 8th in the RAA with a .521 slugging percentage, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hackers. Josh Criss picked up the win in relief. Joe Sargent took the loss for Clearwater. The first-place Hackers, at 87-57, now lead their division by 7½ games.

The Hackers got a clutch hit from catcher Justin Sheridan. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hackers.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye.
