Mountaineers Lose to Rams in Walk-Off
The Black Mountain Mountaineers went down to defeat to Jeff Reynolds and his Frisco teammates. The final score was 3-1, in favor of the Rams. Reynolds, who is tied for 7th in the RAA in complete games with 4, went the distance for Frisco. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. The setback makes Black Mountain 81-68.

Frisco got a clutch hit from Dave Bedford. The second baseman socked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"Jeff was really on it," said Frisco manager Joe Renken. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
