Buzzard's Bay starter Daniel Thompson pitched effectively against the Atlantic City Rollers at The Coffee Grinder. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. The 6th-place Rollers have dropped 5 straight games.

Mike Noel, who is tied for 8th in the RAA in home runs with 22, helped out the Buzzard's Bay cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
