The Black Mountain Mountaineers beat the Adirondack Lumberjacks at Peak Park. The final score was 9-7, in favor of Black Mountain. Jared Tussey led the way, going 1-for-3 for the home team. The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Pete McIntyre came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Adirondack pitcher Ryan Krahn, he hit a 1-2 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Black Mountain on top, 8-7.
