Dusenbery Helps DeKalb Cruise to 12-3 Win
|
The DeKalb Cornhuskers clobbered the Spokane Bulldogs, 12-3, at The Corn Crib. Leading the onslaught was Jeff Dusenbery. He was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for DeKalb. The Cornhuskers now have a record of 75-86 with the win over Spokane.
Taylor Nunley, who is rated as the 73rd best prospect by BNN, chipped in a 3-run home run for DeKalb in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.
