The Evanston Bishops knocked off the Clearwater Seagulls by the score of 4-2. Cameron Linker provided some pop, going 1-for-2 with 1 home run. Evanston reliever Rafael Barreto was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Bryan Forman took the loss for Clearwater. Nate Mosby zipped up his 1st save.

Linker had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 slider from Bryan Forman, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bishops a 4-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Linker.

Linker told a Evanston Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
