Royals Win, 5-3, Over Silicon Valley

The Windsor Royals earned a win at San Jose Municipal Stadium, knocking off the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-3. On the bump for Windsor was right-hander Ben Waite. He had a starring role in the triumph. George Main earned the save, his 2nd, for the Royals. The loss puts Silicon Valley at 2-3.
Gerald Lambruschini helped out the Windsor cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Windsor manager Luis Hernández.
