Pipe Fitters Cut Down Bulldogs, 7-4
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters knocked off the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-4, in TML AA action at The Kennel. Niagara Falls pitcher and Gilmore, Ohio, native Jason Murphy had an outstanding performance. Murphy, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. Raul Luna picked up the save for Niagara Falls, his 3rd of the year.

Niagara Falls used a well-timed hit by Aaron Proctor to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pipe Fitters ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Feels good to get the job done," Murphy said after the game.

The win puts Niagara Falls at 4-2.
