Beehive Get Thrilling 3-2 Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Madison Beehive and the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Gui-fan Fou was the difference-maker. The Madison right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win went to Tzu-jao Kum in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tony Gutierrez took the loss. The loss puts DeKalb at 1-5.

The Beehive got a clutch hit from second baseman Brian Carr. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Beehive.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Fou told reporters after the game.
