Kurtis Rumsey was dynamite at Chapman Field, blowing away the Sandy Springs Spartans in a shutout victory. The Clearwater Seagulls starter had everything working as he held the Spartans to 4 hits in the 2-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Sandy Springs skipper Rafael Alonso. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
