Murraysville got a decent performance from pitcher Justin Weathersby, but it wasn't enough to beat the Silicon Valley Hackers. Silicon Valley won the Red Bull Stadium contest, 8-3. Weathersby threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. John Paronto, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. Murraysville falls to 3-5.

Silicon Valley used a clutch at-bat from Peter Johnston to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hackers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I really like what we did out there today," Johnston said after the game.
