Starting pitcher Jeff Hair took care of business, helping the Fraser Valley Black Bears stifle the Wichita Wolverines, 6-1. Wichita now is 2-5.

It could have been a different outcome for Fraser Valley, had it not been for Rob Baldwin, the 24-year old catcher . Baldwin contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Fraser Valley up, 3-0.

"Jeff went out and got the job done," said Black Bears manager Albert Giles.
