Beetlecats Rally to Eke Out Win
It was pandemonium at The Coffee Grinder after an exciting walk-off win.

The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Boise Hawks, 11-10, in 11 innings. Buzzard's Bay shortstop Jon Michaud, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The win went to John Peters in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Alex Caballero took the loss.

The Beetlecats got a clutch hit from third baseman John Whitaker. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Beetlecats.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Whitaker said.

The victory makes Buzzard's Bay 5-3.
