Mustang Lose to Evanston, 6-2
|
Evanston pitcher Victor Aguilar had a large part in his team beating the Carson City Mustang, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Evanston goes to 7-3.
Evanston second baseman Ian Dalton contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a cutter to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put the Bishops ahead, 4-2.
"Victor just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Evanston manager Harold Planter.
