DeKalb Sunk by Niagara Falls, 4-0
Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters right-hander Geoff Dwyer pitched a good game against the DeKalb Cornhuskers at Pipe Fitters Park, leading his team to victory, 4-0. The defending champion Pipe Fitters have struggled a bit to find their groove this season, but improve to 5-6 with the win.

The Pipe Fitters got a big at-bat from third baseman Steve Larson. For the game, Larson was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Niagara Falls a 4-0 lead.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Dwyer.
