Crocodiles Drop Beehive, 6-2

Behind a fine performance from David Surrett, the Louisiana Crocodiles knocked off the Madison Beehive, 6-2. Surrett was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Crocodiles. Losses have been rare for the Beehive, who are now 8-3.
Surrett had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Brock Scott, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Crocodiles a 6-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Surrett.
After the game, Louisiana manager Peter McColgan applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
