The Fraser Valley Black Bears beat the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 8-3, at The Corn Crib. Fraser Valley first baseman Chris Kendrick had the hot bat. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Jonathan Emory earned the win. Jon Luciano took the loss for DeKalb. The setback makes the Cornhuskers 5-10.

Early in the game, Kendrick had a 3-run home run for Fraser Valley. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Black Bears on top, 3-0.
