Alexis Roussel was nothing short of phenomenal for the Roaring River Steelheads. The 18-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Marysville Monarchs, 4-1. The loss drops Marysville to 8-8.

With one out in the top of the eighth, Ryan Bechtold had a chance to do some damage. Marysville was trailing 4-0, but had the bases loaded. Bechtold came to the plate against Tyshawn Roundtree, and grounded out, driving in 1 run. But it was not enough to complete a Marysville comeback.
