Silicon Valley Hackers starter Jason McConville turned in a top-notch performance against the Boise Hawks at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The result was a win for the Hackers, 4-1. The Hawks are now 5-10 this season.

The Hackers got a big boost from center fielder Dale Jordan who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Hawks hurler Juan Moreno. It was his 7th walk of the season and put Silicon Valley on top, 1-0.

"It was a good effort all around," said Jordan.
