Rockets Collect 7-3 Win Over Canucks
The Kelowna Rockets clipped the Moose Jaw Canucks, 7-3, in 10 innings at Ashton Gate. The standout performance belonged to Kelowna pitcher and Toronto, Canada, native Duane Alcock. Kelowna reliever Preston Stenzel picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mike Perschau took the loss. Moose Jaw, with the loss, is still a stout 12-4.

Kelowna used the timely hitting of Mario Miranda to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rockets on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It took some doing, but we got what we came for," said Rockets manager .
