No one was more impactful than Juan Tello in the 7-3 Frisco win over Beaumont. Tello went 3-4 with a home run and a double. Larry Viola was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. Dylan Phillips got credit for the save for Frisco. It was his 1st of the year.

Mike Paquette aided the Frisco cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher went 3 for 4 with 3 singles.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Frisco skipper Joe Renken.

The loss drops Beaumont to 6-12.
