Drillers Get Past Kelowna, 10-9
Drillers designated hitter Harvey McFadyen put his stamp on his team's 10-9 win over the Kelowna Rockets. McFadyen was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for Beaumont in the contest. The winner in relief was Caspar Twomey. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. The Rockets fall to 8-14 and continue their sputtering start to the 2066 season.

Travis McAbee, who leads the RAA in bases on balls with 20, helped out the Beaumont cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the third baseman drew 3 walks in 5 trips to the plate.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Beaumont manager Takuzo Kaneshiro.
