Canucks Drop Contest, 5-2, to Silicon Valley

The Silicon Valley Hackers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Mark Tanner. The right-hander kept the Moose Jaw offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 Silicon Valley victory at Ashton Gate. Now 18-5, the 2064 Hackers have been sensational so far.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from third baseman Seth Clark. For the game, Clark was 1 for 1 with a double. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Silicon Valley a 1-0 lead.
"This game is about whoever is putting up more runs," said Hackers manager Brad Jones. "Simple as that."
