FUBU Field featured a tense pitchers' duel.
Both offenses were feeble at FUBU Field. Fortunately for the Evanston Bishops, though, Gary Juneau delivered in the clutch. He slugged 2 home runs, to help his team topple the Windsor Royals, 2-0. Rafael Barreto, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. Nate Mosby finished the game for Evanston and earned his 1st save.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Juneau hit a solo home run off Jose del Real. It propelled the Bishops into the lead, 1-0.
"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Juneau.
The loss puts Windsor at 13-10.
