Beaumont Keeps Spiraling Downward
Beaumont second baseman Kyle Brunner pounded Silicon Valley Hackers pitchers at Drillers Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Drillers from falling, 10-8. Brunner went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Dave Recer wrapped it up, recording his 6th save. Now 22-7, the 2064 Hackers have been sensational so far.

Colin Magne came through with a big-time hit for Silicon Valley. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 10-8. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Takuzo Kaneshiro, the Beaumont manager.
