Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Madison Beehive got the win.
The Madison Beehive got a stellar effort from pitcher Kody Taylor, helping Madison score a win over the visiting Fraser Valley Black Bears, 4-2. Brock Scott picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Adam DeVoe was tagged with the loss.
Madison first baseman Josh Jarrette helped the Beehive go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Jarrette hit a run-scoring single off Fraser Valley pitcher Adam DeVoe.
"We put together a nice win," Jarrette said.
With the win, Madison boosts its record to 15-9.
