Greg Spivey pitched well, but the Black Mountain Mountaineers still lost the game, falling, 4-2, to the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Chris Olson, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2052 draft, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The win gives Silicon Valley a record of 18-7.

Silicon Valley took a 3-2 lead on Steve Svehla's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Svehla hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Black Mountain pitcher Greg Spivey visibly frustrated.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Svehla.
