Spartans Use Late Rally to Win 6th Straight
Sandy Springs turned a good performance from starting pitcher Patrick Perillo into a 4-2 triumph over the Windsor Royals at The Coliseum. Ron Elliott picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Chris Campbell suffered the loss. Kevin Felson earned the save for Sandy Springs, his 9th.

Sandy Springs took a 3-2 lead on Ted Wilson's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Wilson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Windsor pitcher Chris Campbell visibly frustrated.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Perillo. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
