The Fraser Valley Black Bears downed the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 13-8, at The Corn Crib. Brad Downey led the way, going 2-for-5 for Fraser Valley. DeKalb falls to 20-13.

Fraser Valley took the lead, 9-5, on Cody Pineda's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off DeKalb pitcher Jose Vega in the top of the seventh.

"We maximized our offense today," said Fraser Valley skipper Albert Giles. "That makes everyone's life easier."
