Clearwater Offense Jammed Up by Mustang
The Carson City Mustang knocked off the Clearwater Seagulls, 4-1, in TML AA action at Cowboys Stadium. Carson City pitcher and Hubbard, Ohio, native Jon Adams had an outstanding performance. The winning pitcher was Adams, now 1-2. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 7. Damien Lamboglio nailed down his 1st save.

Matt Daniel dealt the Seagulls a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Carson City leading 1-0, Daniel, who is tied for 9th in the TAA in stolen bases with 3, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

Said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye: "You just have to tip your cap sometimes."

Carson City now has a record of 15-15.
