Streaking Black Bears Win Another One, 10-1
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old catcher Dale Knoll, the Fraser Valley Black Bears stopped the Carson City Mustang, 10-1. With the win over Carson City, the Black Bears improved to 22-14.

With Fraser Valley leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Knoll hit a fastball from Alberto Davila for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Black Bears ahead, 7-1.

Carson City manager Orinosuke Matsuoka said his team was "out of sync."
