The Kelowna Rockets scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Beaumont Drillers at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Kelowna pitcher Zach Clark held his own in the contest. The winner was Clark. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Caspar Twomey. Bill Douglas, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save.

Kelowna took a 5-2 lead on Eddie Korson's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Korson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Beaumont pitcher Ryan Grange visibly frustrated.

Korson told the Kelowna News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."

The Rockets now have a record of 16-22 with the win over Beaumont.
