The Fraser Valley Black Bears topped the Wauwatosa Indians, 6-2, in TML AA action at Albert Park. The standout performance belonged to Fraser Valley pitcher and Williamsville, New York, native Jonathan Emory. Armando Gimenez closed it out for his 1st save. Fraser Valley raised its record to 23-15 with the win.

Fraser Valley used a clutch at-bat from Brad Downey to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Black Bears ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Jonathan is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Fraser Valley manager Albert Giles.
