Silicon Valley Crafts 5-2 Win
|
The Silicon Valley Hackers knocked off the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 5-2, in RCL AA action at The Coffee Grinder. Silicon Valley pitcher and Bristol, Tennessee, native Bo Ferguson had an outstanding performance. Silicon Valley, now 26-18, holds down second place in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.
Silicon Valley needed the clutch hitting of Josh Bigrigg to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hackers on top, 3-2. For the game, Bigrigg had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Silicon Valley manager .
