The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats downed the Atlantic City Rollers, 14-1, at The Coffee Grinder. Mike Noel led the way, going 2-for-4 for Buzzard's Bay. Buzzard's Bay reliever Robby Medlin got the win, raising his record to 1-3. Shonosuke Tsutsui was tagged with the loss. By defeating Atlantic City, the third-place Beetlecats improved to 18-17.

Nick Reed had a big 2-run home run for the Beetlecats in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Buzzard's Bay leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Shonosuke Tsutsui, who is tied for 8th in the RAA in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Beetlecats on top, 4-1.
